Weighting is brought to you by Extraordinary Bodies, circus for every body. Combining circus, dance and theatre, Weighting tells the story of an extraordinary family who make new discoveries in the face of love and loss. The show celebrates risk-taking, transformation and questions the right time to let go. It premiered in Exeter in 2013 and, was redeveloped and toured the UK in 2015, and headlined Doing Things Differently, Bristol in September 2016.

The cast includes seven extraordinary disabled and non-disabled performers who take to the air on a huge transformative set in a joyful exploration of equilibrium and balance. They are accompanied by a five-piece band playing an original score, and backed by a local community choir formed as part of our integrated participatory programme SINGS. Weighting aims to break perception barriers through excellent performance.
